Lake Road Gewurztraminer 2013
You can now buy New Zealand's Lakeroad's Gewurztraminer wine in Singapore! Get a candy if you can spell that wine variety right from first attempt :) Anyway, this is helluva good representative from the Alsace variety of grapes. Very strong fruit aromas, mixing some sweet flavours with a tad of spiciness and gentle acidity. A very drinkable wine, give it some chill and it will be hard to stop!

Tasting notes and food pairing ideas:
Lychee, gooseberry, a little current and a rich background of citrus flows across a rich full palate with nice soft acid and fresh bright fruit on a long juicy finish. This wine will partner well with Thai or any Asian styled food such as chilli basil and king prawns or fish in a coconut sauce.
Quite honestly we see no reason why you should postpone the pleasure of tasting this wine. Drink now and until you ran out of supplies. The grapes were harvested in late March and yielded a premium crop of only 6T/Ha due to extensive crop thinning and managed pruning.
